I didn't want to believe it. It was impossible! I looked again across the empty classroom to where the book teetered on the edge of the desk.

"Move," I murmured. And again, the book slowly lifted, rising in the air. I swallowed hard. "Down." It set itself back in place.

I breathed out, scared that I was a freak. Then I looked outside the class window to where Marie and Callie were still laughing about me.

And I smiled.
