SATURDAY IN THE PARK

The band, Chicago, has been one of the most successful recording groups in music.
One of the early hits was a ditty called "Saturday in the Park".

Your mission today is to take one of the images from the lyric (included below) and use that as the basis of your FLASHY FICTION.

Wish you were here...

14th July

Dear Short Fiction Writers,

While exploring the attic of the old Victorian home of your elderly great aunt, you found an old postcard sticking out of a roll top desk.  To whom was it addressed, what did it say - and where was it sent from?

Wish you were here...

Kindest regards,
Your Saturday Flashy Fiction Host

Connections are made every day and in different ways:  a bird, a song, the touch of a hand.  How do you find the connection?  What makes it real?

Three Word Salad Saturday

You know the drill, right?  Write a flashy bit o'fiction that incorporates the following three (count 'em...3) words:

1. agroof (ah-GROOF) — to fall flat on your face
The word that means "to fall flat on the face" is commendable for its precision. I like the inclusion of "roof" for a word that means a "fall."
 2. louche (LOOSH) — of questionable taste or morality; decadent
The very sound of it conjures decadence.
  3.  cusp (KUSP) 1. a point or pointed end. 2. a pointed or rounded projection on the chewing surface of a tooth; a triangular fold or flap of a heart valve. 3. a point at which a curve crosses itself and at which the two tangents to the curve coincide. 4. the point of intersection of two ornamental arcs or curves, such as the inner points of a trefoil. 5. either point of a crescent moon. 6. a transitional point or time, as between two astrological signs.
Just the sound...It is a great word

***Note: The above words came from a fab list of great words called Vocabula.
