Autumn Adventures

I'm heading out for the weekend to enjoy the outdoors and the cool autumn weather with my family.  Today's prompt is to write a little Flashy Fiction about an outdoor adventure.  Be sure to make the setting part of the story --the beautiful colors of the autumn woods, the crispness of the air, etc. 

Autumn River

Sunlight streams through the changing leaves of the trees.  Autumn is here with a crisp, gentle breeze.  It's a great day for a peaceful trip down this lazy river to view the beauty all around.  Write a little Flashy Fiction set in this scene.

I'VE CHANGED

We're swinging into the autumnal times, 
a seasonal change.

Write a bit of flash expounding on change. Change of seasons. Change of plans. Change of life. A transformation of some kind. Your character should come to an epiphany by story's end.

Country Road

A nice leisurely drive down a scenic road in autumn.  Write a Flashy Fiction piece about this setting.  Why are you here?  Maybe it's not a leisurely drive at all.
