WHAT'S IN A NAME?

I've never seen a seacow,
I never hope to see one.
But, I can tell you here and now,
I'd rather see, than be one.

Strange sounding compound words come together to provide some striking images.
Examples: shoetree, shoehorn, clotheshorse,... you get the general idea.
Your quest today is to incorporate as many of these into your story.
