Since this is new for me, I am going to introduce myself. I write children's stories that I ummm, have not yet published. I also write for my own personal blog and I started making my own quote photos to use for my blog's Facebook page in order to inspire those around me. I want you to look at the quotes I post and write a story that might have inspired the quote, or use it to make the type of character that evokes those feelings when you read it. Be inspired:

Inspired by a Genius
(photo courtesy Wikipedia Einstein at the age of three in 1882)
(Photos via Photobucket motor3mike)
"In his lecture at Einstein's memorial, nuclear physicist Robert Oppenheimer summarized his impression of him as a person: "He was almost wholly without sophistication and wholly without worldliness . . . There was always with him a wonderful purity at once childlike and profoundly stubborn, (wiki commons)."
Maybe write a dialogue with Einstein as a participant...or if you could ask Albert something what would it be...?

I OUGHTA BE IN PICTURES
With the "Oscar" frenzy over for another year our minds are still in Gollywood mode. Provided below are five famous quotes from various motion pictures. Take one of them and write a story in which the quote becomes the LAST line of your story.
From "Cool Hand Luke" - "What we've got here, is a failure to communicate!"
or from "A Few Good Men" - "You can't HANDLE the truth!"
or from "The Apartment" - "Shut up and deal!"
or from "Scarface" - "Say 'ello to my lil' friend!"
or from "Dracula" - "Listen to them. Children of the night. What music they make."
