I placed my tiles on the flesh colored squares, carefully staying within the white borders. L O V E = seven points. Unoriginal yes, but it was all I had. My hands moved away from the board to indicate I was certain of my choice. Shyly, I raised my eyes to look at my opponent. Gabe’s green eyes held on to mine for…ever. “Y O U = six points,” he smiled. “I think you just won.”
The o holds us,
ReplyDeleteall three,
you me love
circling
condensing.
you lose me
and there's only
you and love
But love's too long
and soon
love and I
will vie for place
as you chase the o
sinking
into a black
hole.
aww, that's sweet.
