I could never understand why she was so anal about compiling checklists for things that should have come quite naturally. I could blame her OCD, but that would be the cowards way out.

Sarah was beautiful and fragile, a china doll in designer jeans. But she had a problem with her self worth. She had none. No amount of bolstering by me or anyone seemed to matter to her.

But this list, this "roadmap" of our relationship, or should I say, the lack of our relationship, is a tell-tale decree. The first point is a revelation that is quite apparent.

Sarah has been aloof of later. Mysteriously absent and vacant. She refuses to see me. And no amount of prompting will make it so. My call are not returned; letters go unanswered. My Sarah has dropped my heart from her hands. I am not accustomed to such a rough landing.

But, how do I get her to know me better? Until I can get her attention, Sarah will be the unreachable prize. And I will be much worse because of it. My heart dies a little every day.

  2. Poor guy. OCD women with low self-esteem are a nightmare! *cough* Oh, I get it.
